Sew, So Fun! is now offering beginning sewing lessons for kids ages 8-12!
Your child will learn machine-sewing basics while making fun, useful projects like these:
Pillowcase made with 2 coordinating fabrics
(how to apply an applique will be taught in the intermediate class)
Lined, Drawstring Backpack
Your child will learn these basic skills:
How to use a sewing machine
How to pin and cut fabric
How to sew straight, reverse, and zig-zag stitches
and much more!
Classes are taught in my home in Providence, UT
Classes can be held weekly or twice monthly.
Class size is 1-2 students each session so I am able to provide
personalized instruction for each child.
Classes available on Saturday mornings and on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday afternoons.
I also offer classes for home-schooled kids! Call me for more flexible scheduling
Classes cost $20.00 per student, per 2-hour session
(shorter sessions can be arranged at $5.00 per each 1/2 hour)
Sewing machines and basic sewing supplies are provided for use at class, but fabrics and notions needed for each project will need to be provided by student.
