Sew, So Fun! is now starting its Summer Session of
beginning sewing lessons.
For kids ages 8 & up!
Your child will learn machine-sewing basics while making fun, useful projects like these:
Pillowcase made with 2 coordinating fabrics
(how to apply an applique will be taught in the intermediate class)
Lined, Drawstring Backpack
Other possible projects are:
Basic Elastic Waist Skirt
Nightgown
Apron
Pajama Pants
Your child will learn these basic skills:
How to use a sewing machine
Sewing Safety
How to prepare fabric for sewing
How to pin and cut fabric
How to sew straight, reverse, and zig-zag stitches
Measuring techniques
and much more!
Classes are taught in my home in Providence, UT
Classes are held weekly, beginning on Tues. July 5th.
Class size is 1-2 students each session so I am able to provide
personalized instruction for each child.
Classes are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays.
You can choose to enroll your child for one of these sessions per week:
10:00 - 11:30 a.m. (Tues. & Wed. only)
12:30 - 2:00 p.m.
2:30 - 4:00 p.m.
Classes cost $15 per student, per 1-1/2 hour session
Sewing machines and basic sewing supplies are provided for use at class, but fabrics and notions needed for each project will need to be provided by student.
